What sets us apart?

More ways to reach us

We give you more than one route to care through AskMyGP, telephone access and extended access. That makes it easier to act quickly when your child needs support.

A surgery that feels easier to visit

Our modernised building includes disabled and pram access for smoother visits. Small practical details can make a big difference when you're bringing children to appointments.

Care that supports the whole family

We don't look at children's health in isolation from the rest of family life. Our wider practice support helps you manage everyday health needs under one roof.

A welcoming practice for everyday healthcare

We provide accessible GP care in a newly refurbished, modernised building designed with disabled and pram access in mind. We welcome new patients and support families with children's health needs through everyday medical care. At Ashville Surgery, we also offer AskMyGP and telephone access, making it easier to contact us, request advice, and arrange appointments that fit around daily life.

Supporting your health with practical services

We provide appointments, repeat prescription support, sick certificates, blood test booking, test results, referral information, and guidance about who to see for different health concerns. We also encourage self-care where appropriate and offer NHS App support for convenient healthcare management. Our extended access options help make medical support available at suitable times for many patients across our community.

Clinics and ongoing healthcare support

Our clinics cover blood pressure monitoring, asthma and diabetes checks, cervical smears, basic health checks, smoking advice, dietary guidance, contraception services, and additional routine nursing care. We support children's health alongside ongoing wellbeing needs for patients of different ages. Ashville Surgery works with patients to encourage regular monitoring, preventative care, and appropriate follow-up throughout treatment and recovery.

Helping you access healthcare with confidence

We provide NHS health information alongside guidance about non-NHS services, helping patients understand available healthcare options and related processes. We also explain referral pathways and support access to appropriate local services when suitable. Let us help you make informed decisions through clear communication, straightforward advice, and convenient contact options that support ongoing healthcare for individuals and families.

Hear from our happy patients

A H, Google

The service at Ashville Surgery is great via the ask my GP app. The responses from doctors and referrals are super quick and efficient. The doctors are great, but especially would like to call out Michael Davenport Who service is. As well as as required, he will also educate you on what is taking place and why, and what took out for and how to check for certain things using different techniques that give you peace of mind when you leave. Fantastic Doctor.

Pauleen Lane, Google

Excellent multi disciplinary practice with GPs. AHPs and integrated medicine management. Can ask for a particular staff member or just next available slot and care both online, over the phone and in person has been excellent whoever I saw or spoke to. Reception staff are friendly and helpful. Being a training practice seems to contribute to the consistent standard of care and they are always up to date with treatment options. Overall all the benefits of a large practice with none of the downsides.
